DescriptionTulane University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon with a strong interest in an academic career to join our practice in New Orleans, La. The ideal candidate would be interested in a general academic pediatric orthopaedic practice with the ability to build a subspecialty practice (non-spine). The practice is made up of 5 dedicated pediatric orthopaedic surgeons from 2 institutions as well as excellent APP and NP support. Teaching opportunities include working with residents from 4 different residency programs and collaborative research within Tulane and our colleague institutions in New Orleans.
Clinical practice responsibilities for this position are primarily based at Children's Hospital of New Orleans LCMC Health, with some outreach activities. Teaching duties include participation in department-wide activities, with a special emphasis on participation in conferences and activities focused on your sub-specialty. Research opportunities abound and can be tailored to fit your interests.

Qualifications
Medical Doctorate
Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon with Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship
Percent Peds: > 75%
Focus: General, Trauma, Sports, Hand, Foot and Ankle
