Assistant/Associate Professor of Surgery – Vascular Surgery
The University of Missouri’s Department of Surgery is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Vascular Surgeon to join our growing team at the MU School of Medicine. We are seeking individuals who are board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery and deeply committed to advancing excellence in patient care, medical education, and innovative research. This position includes responsibilities at the University Hospitals & Clinics and the Harry S. Truman Memorial VA Hospital which is adjacent to our campus. Our vascular program features a full spectrum of advanced open and endovascular procedures, including cutting-edge catheter-based techniques and complex surgical interventions. Facilities include a state-of-the-art Hybrid Operating Room, a fully equipped Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and a dedicated surgical team committed to excellence.
As the only tertiary academic medical center and Level 1 trauma center in central Missouri, our Division of Vascular Surgery plays a vital role in training medical students, residents, and fellows. Candidates with an interest in research are strongly encouraged to apply, as our division leads an active Outcomes Research Program involving multidisciplinary collaboration.

The NextGen Precision Health Center, a $220.8 million research facility opened in 2021, fosters groundbreaking interdisciplinary research aimed at accelerating the development of innovative treatments.
