Description
DescriptionThe School of Computing is seeking qualified applicants for a term-based, non-tenure track faculty position starting August 11, 2026.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
Examples of Duties
The selected candidate will design and teach courses in Applied Generative AI for the University Core Curriculum (UCC). The selected candidate will also teach AI related courses in the School of Computing.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a closely related area at time of appointment, and extensive experience applying AI techniques in various disciplines. Rank of appointment is dependent on the academic degree held. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Lecturer for an individual with a master's degree, and at the rank of Assistant Professor of Practice with a doctorate.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing and teaching applied AI courses in academia or industry is preferred.
