Position Summary:
The LSU Health Sciences Center-New Orleans, Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, seeks two enthusiastic faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track).
The successful candidates will have an interest in academic medicine, an excellent training background and an interest in building an academic clinical practice. The successful candidates will also participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. We welcome newly graduated fellows and early – mid-career faculty to apply. LSUHSC offers an excellent benefit package and salary is commensurate with experience.
Candidates should be an MD, DO or equivalent, board eligible/certified in cardiovascular disease, have a license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana and be credentialed with all required entities prior to the start date.
