Position Summary

Indiana University Southeast, one of eight campuses of Indiana University, is seeking dynamic and innovative educators to fill a faculty position in the School of Nursing. Located in historic New Albany, Indiana, our beautiful 180-acre campus is only 10 minutes from vibrant, downtown Louisville, Kentucky. IU Southeast serves students enrolled in more than fifty undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

MSN programs in nursing administration and nursing education are offered via an IU Regional Consortium and are accredited by the CCNE through 2035.

We invite applications for Clinical Assistant Professor for which an earned MSN and ability to be licensed as a registered nurse in Indiana are required. This is a full-time, on-site position with clinical, classroom, and/or simulation laboratory teaching requirements.

Preferred candidates will also possess a record of collegiality, innovation and creative teaching initiatives in time of change and growth. Experience and expertise in critical care nursing, medical-surgical nursing, and RN- BSN teaching are preferred. Salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience. Required Qualifications:
A master's degree in nursing
In all cases 18 graduate credit hours in nursing is required
Evidence of eligibility for licensure in Indiana
Minimum of 3 years of practice as a registered nurse (RN).
Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and student success
Demonstrated ability to work in a professional and collaborative team environment
Experience as a nursing educator, as well as certification as a Certified Nurse Educator ( CNE ) considered a plus. Classroom, simulation laboratory, and clinical teaching experience strongly preferred.
