Director of Undergraduate Admissions
Reporting the Assistant Vice President of Admissions, the Director of Undergraduate Admissions (Director 2) oversees the strategic recruitment, initiatives and admissions processes necessary in achieving the University's new student undergraduate enrollment goals. The Director leads and manages a team of admissions professionals, including the Associate Directors of Admissions for freshman and transfer, undergraduate admissions counselors and support staff in the execution of recruitment plans, application file review, transfer credit evaluations and community college off-site locations.
The Director is a key member of the enrollment management team and will participate in the establishment of recruitment goals and work collaboratively with division managers and campus partners to leverage the full power of the Kean community toward the achievement of enrollment targets.
This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours. Employees in the Office of University Admissions are expected to travel to community colleges, high schools or other locations for student recruitment activities and events.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; four years of progressive, professional experience in admissions in higher education; and a driver's license valid in New Jersey is required. A Master's degree, Datatel Colleague and Ellucian Recruiter experience is preferred. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask; and excellent presentation skills, with the ability to represent the University at events and programs. Essential job functions include driving and the ability to lift, handle and transport recruitment materials and equipment over short and long distances. Traveling will require the ability to drive for short and extended periods of time.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the annual salary range for this position is: $110,000 to $122,000. This position may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, a retirement plan and benefits for work life balance.
