Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of high school diploma and one year experience. Minimum of 21 years of age. USA Citizenship at time of appointment. To be eligible for appointment candidates cannot have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor domestic violence crime as set forth in 18 U.S.C. & 992 (g) (8) and (9). Successful completion of background investigation.
Position Description:
The Traffic Guard positions will be responsible for directing vehicular traffic and pedestrians at assigned locations, ensuring vehicle and pedestrian safety during University of Louisville athletic events.
Job Responsibilities
- Directs the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic at assigned locations.
- Expedites traffic flow following athletic event to assist with vehicular and pedestrian departures.
- Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic during emergencies.
- Record license plate numbers of vehicles, disregarding traffic laws, and report infractions.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
