Job Summary
The Work Control Center Specialist is the dedicated single point of contact/customer service representative for all Facilities related services. Contact points include email, telephone, 1:1, and the WebTMA Service Request Portal. This individual acts as the liaison throughout the work management process, service delivery changes, and through to the resolution of the customer issue.
This position has the overall responsibility for carrying out the work order management processes related to our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). This includes, but is not limited to, assigning priorities to requests, decision making, assignment of work to trades personnel, work order processing, reporting, complete documentation of action, routine & complex analysis, contract management, and invoice processing.
This position provides secondary support for the Facilities Key & Lock position.
Minimum Qualifications
- Three years of advanced clerical work which includes the collection, analysis, reporting, compilation, and presentation of relevant program data related information OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Three years of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment.
- Two years of experience in electronic record-keeping or accounting operations.
- Two years of experience working in/maintaining a database management system.
- Demonstrated competency in written communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of experience in a leadership role in a business environment.
- Two years of experience supervising customer service representatives.
- Continued education in customer service techniques/skills.
- Two years of work experience in Higher Education.
- Prior work experience in a Facilities setting.
- Prior experience working with WebTMA.
- Prior work experience developing standard operating procedures or writing policy documents.

The starting salary for this position is $45,907.00, based on the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement.
