Job Summary
Prepares, processes, maintains, and provides information regarding student admissions records and/or reports. Participates in recruitment activities and projects.
Essential Functions
Duties:
- Travel and recruit across the northeastern United States, with focused attention on Eastern PA, New Jersey, and the DC area.
- Interview prospective students, review applications, and provide personalized guidance throughout the admissions process.
- Counsel and follow up with first-year and transfer students interested in enrolling at Pitt-Bradford.
- Represent the University at college fairs, high school visits, and campus events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; preference given to Pitt-Bradford alumni
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing a travel budget or related administrative responsibilities is helpful.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with students - a sense of humor and a strong work ethic go a long way here.
Physical Effort
Moderate phys• cal effort required. May be required to stand/move for several hours at a time. May be required to move objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance of equipment.
