Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Avian and Exotic Medicine at our Orange Park, Florida campus.
This faculty position offers an exciting opportunity to educate the next generation of veterinarians through pre-clinical and clinical instruction while advancing the field of avian and exotic animal medicine. Responsibilities include teaching, mentoring veterinary students, participating in scholarly activities, and contributing to the mission of the College through research and professional service.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the State of Florida
- Advanced training in avian and exotic animal medicine (residency, board certification, or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience in an academic setting
- Veterinary clinical experience in avian and exotic animal practice
- Demonstrated record of research, scholarly activity, or professional contributions
