Job Overview
Design and execute a strategic plan to establish new partnerships with industry and strengthen and solidify existing relationships. Lead the partnership development team and collaborate with campus stakeholders to develop processes and practices that result in seamless industry connections, with a focus on executive education, professional development, and non-credit offerings. Track key metrics and develop processes that utilize CRM software.
This position is expected to be 50% FTE/20 hours per week. This position is a two-year position with the possibility of extension based on need/funds.
This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.
Essential Functions
- Create an annual outreach plan, including key performance indicators and metrics, to meet institutional goals around partnership outreach, engagement, and retention.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, tracking key metrics and outcomes to assess effectiveness and identify areas of improvement.
- Create workflows, processes, and reporting through CRM software to maximize efficiency and ensure an exceptional level of service is being provided to industry stakeholders.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in partnership development including outreach, customer relationship management, follow-up and closing, and other effective relationship maintenance/development strategies.
- Lead, manage, and train the partnership development team responsible for the execution of measurable targets and deliverables.
- Collaborate with Director of Partnership development and Director of National Outreach to develop and update strategic plan and operations plan.
- Provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nine (9) years of relevant education, experience and/or other specialized training can fulfill minimum education and experience requirement
Required Experience
Five (5) years of experience in sales and/or business development
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
