Position Description:
The Part-Time Bartender/Server will provide exceptional customer service to all Club Members and guests through food and beverage and special event service for the University of Louisville Golf Club.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders, serve food and beverages, prepare itemized checks, and accept payments.
- Complete all daily tasks and cleaning schedules assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation.
- Prep garnishes for drinks, stock bar, and maintain a clean work area.
- Check identification of customers in the bar area to ensure they meet all statutory regulations.
- Work both private and Club events.
- Must have good mobility and can lift heavy objects sometimes in excess of 30 pounds.
- Must efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Promote a friendly atmosphere for all Members and guests, as well as coworkers.
- Ensure operations comply with all state and federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to food and beverage sanitation, alcohol and tobacco, and ADA requirements.
- Perform other duties as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree in Culinary Science, Foodservice Systems Administration/Management, Hotel/Restaurant Management, desirable.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
