The Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Brain Sciences (IAIBS) of the University of Macau invites applications for the positions of Full/Associate/Assistant Professor in the following disciplines. These positions are intended to complement and strengthen existing faculty staff expertise. We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in scientific research, an innovative research vision, and a commitment to education.

1. Human Computer Interaction (Ref. No.: IAIBS/FAAP/HCI/04/2026)

Prospective applicants should specialize in human computer interaction, cognitive neuroscience, emotional AI, or the interface of brain sciences and AI in general and should possess a PhD and/or MD-PhD with extensive experiences in related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced expertise and in-depth knowledge of neuroimaging and brain intervention.

2. Data Science (Ref. No.: IAIBS/FAAP/DS/07/2026) 

Prospective applicants should have a PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines. Outstanding candidates in closely related areas of interdisciplinary AI and data science are also encouraged to apply: (1) AI for Science; (2) AI for Society; and (3) AI Governance.
