Job Summary
Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a charming rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is just a 20-minute drive from the metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks to hire employees with experience working with diverse populations.
The Department of Cinema, Television and Media Production at Kutztown University invites applications for a part-time temporary faculty position for the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 academic year. Courses taught may include Scriptwriting, Media Theory and Aesthetics, Introduction to Cinema, Television and Media Production, Post-Production, or other introductory through advanced production courses. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- College-level teaching experience
- Significant industry-related experience
- Proficiency in field and post-production
Preferred Qualifications
- MFA or PhD in a related field
- Proficiency in broadcast production
