Description

We are seeking a Tutorial Assistant who will support students as needed.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with students and establish a positive learning environment.
• Evaluate and document student progress.
• Communicate student progress and concerns to the Site Project Coordinator.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning.
• Suggest improvements to course content.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds
• Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some related experience.
